Soho Center's FIRST/CLASS
program
offers families in a five-county area around Madison, Virginia a
low-cost
alternative to public and private elementary schools - all in an
environment
that develops materials and strategies to enhance educational progress
and school success for children.

The Soho Center is interested in finding
a
few families who value education over MTV, who understand that
reading
books is better than video games, and who don't mind bucking the tide in
a increasingly average world. 
We
have 27 years of running nationally recognized, quality children's
programs
- with a very experienced staff, terrific adult/child ratio, and a large
collection of excellent learning materials.
Located in the Haywood section of
Madison County,
FIRST/CLASS
features a 2,000 square foot classroom, a library of thousands of
children's
books, a broad array of quality children's educational materials, a
large
fenced playground, children's gardens, and acres of safe and private
grounds.
The cost is surprisingly modest. And, if
