In this series of field trips, nearly 140 children enjoyed walking in the woods on specially-designed children's paths. Each child filled a "Treasure Bag" with a collection of autumn leaves, acorns, pine cones, and rocks.

While children went "up the hills" and "down the hills" and through the woods, teachers and Soho Center staff gave children words on strips of paper to match the objects the children put in their "Treasure Bags."

Stopping at the "Teepee Landing," Jeanna Beker, Soho Center's Director, chats with children about their hike and their treasures.
