  A start-up grant of $97,500 from the UPS Foundation in support of the National Children's Literacy Information project.

  Two cash donations totaling $40,000 to help purchase an AVID Xpress system to produce two children's literacy videos.

  Donation from Hewlett-Packard of $26,000 in upgraded office equipment including four 266mHz Vectra PCs, four 21" monitors, four LaserJet printers, four tape backup systems, color scanner, and digital camera.

  Donation from Paradise Productions of CPU, media drives, media drive tower, editing monitors, software for an AVID Media Composer video editing system. 

  Donation from AVID of a monitor, software, and all required system boards to complete our AVID Media Composer video editing system.

  Donation from Park Production Group to purchase a Betacam SP feeder deck.

  Donation from ICE of their ICEfx/AVID on ICE multiprocessor real-time effects package for our AVID system.

  Grant of $5,000 from Wachovia Bank, N.A. to support operations of the NCLI.

  Donation from DATADirect Networks of two additional 9 gig media drives and cabinet. 

  Donation from Chosen Pictures (NYC) of an AVID media tower and media drives and of a studio DAT machine for additional video storage and editing and for audio recording and playback.

  Donation from Pioneer Electronics of their V7400 industrial DVD player for video roll-ins for our AVID Editing system

.  Donation from Sharp Electronics Corporation of their 15" Aquos LCD monitor/TV for video presentation and remote playback.

  Donation from JLCooper Electronics of their MCS3s  professional jog/shuttle Media Control Station for our AVID Editing system.

  Donation from Nikon USA of their CoolPix 885 digital camera to support the Soho Center's various print and web-based media efforts - including the NCLI.

  Donation from DATADirect Networks of two additional 9 gig media drives and cabinet. 

  Donation from Lexar Media of their USB-enabled media cards and USB reader for our digital camera system.

  Donation from American Power Conversion of multiple uninterruptible power supplies for all video and computer systems. And EnerSys has provided additional replacement batteries for all UPS systems. 

  Donation from CTX International of a second, matching 21" monitor to supplement the donated AVID system.

  Donation from ArtBeats of $2,000 of digital movie clips for use within the upcoming children's literacy videos.

  Donation from Acoustic Research (AR) of 5 of their high-resolution AR15 speakers for our edit/presentation facility.

  Donation from DigiEffects of their broadcast CineLook and Berserk AVX plug-ins for digital video post-production. 

  Donation from Polk Audio of two pairs of their AB755 in-wall speaker systems for monitoring at our edit/presentation facility. 

  Donation from Tennsco of their premium Estey library shelving for storage of the NCLI's Resource Library. 

  Donation from Interex/XLR8 of their highly-rated 400 mHz accelerator card and software for our donated AVID system.

  Donation from Nakamichi of their high-end MB-10 CD player for digital audio editing. 

  Donation from Adcom of their premium GFS-6 speaker selector hardware for our facility playback control. 

  Donation from Grant Products of 5 Pivotelli speaker mounts for our edit/presentation facility.

  Donation from Visiontek of extra 128M of RAM for the AVID .

  Donation from Kingston Technologies of extra 256M of high-speed RAM for the AVID.
