Children's Literacy and the Holidays Recently, the Soho Center hosted Skyline Head Start children and staff to celebrate the holidays and read quality children's books about Santa and the Holiday season.     Soho Center's Director, Jeanna Beker, leads Head Start children and staff as they carry away a tree donated by the Soho Center to the Head Start classsroom - after singing, dancing, and Holiday story times on Soho Center's fields and woods.     The Soho Center worked cooperatively with  Head Start teachers to arrange educational field trips for the holiday season.  The Soho Center planned activities to promote children's literacy,  give children enjoyable nature experiences,  and reinforce Head Start's educational goals in an enjoyable holiday-related setting.
