    Special Group Rates are also available.  Several states have already used Quality Enhancement funds to purchase thousands of copies for distribution to child care providers, child care centers, and Head Start programs.     As a 37 year-old non-profit committed to helping large numbers of children, the Soho Center's goal is simple - we want everything we do to promote quality child care and education in every way we can. This Directory helps make child care programs better; that's why we created it.  And we're doing all we can to keep it current, expand it, and get it to as many child care sites and providers as possible. 

    One example - We have sent free copies of an earlier Edition of our National Child Care Resource Directory to every Food Program Sponsor in America - about 1,200 of them. That mailing included a special offer to join our next printing and purchase enough copies of the Directory for each of their providers - a lot of them did and we got orders from all over America.  It was a great success - which is why we're now on our 5th Edition!
